I have been working on a book about spirituality and society with topics such as consciousness, the nature of reality, why the universe came into being, what role suffering plays, what we can surmise about God, and fundamental topics like the role of social connection and why our era is called the age of anxiety. The overall approach is metaphysical. If you hold a dogmatic "organized religion" view we are probably not the right fit. Do these topics interest you? I would like to find someone in the local area to discuss them with in order to develop these ideas further. We would meet on a regular basis to discuss them over coffee or tea. The person I work with will get a writing credit, and if they are able to help in a significant way, a percentage of proceeds from book and audio sales.
