#founddog in the Avondale neighborhood-We had him scanned for a chip and no luck and he didn't have tags on him either. We posted fliers throughout the neighborhood and on social media with no response. We've also checked "lost dog" postings everywhere and none match. We’d love to keep him, but we already have two monster sized furry babies and can’t take on another dog so we were hoping to find his family or a new family to take him in. We've been calling him "Butters" as a placeholder name. If anyone is interested or knows someone interested please DM me preference for those already with previous experience with Pitbulls. He would benefit from someone with a calm but firm demeanor, patience, and energy to keep up with him. We are also in process of surrendering to PAWS or Animal Care and Control if no one is available. He’s about 40 pounds, not yet neutered, and in need of training. His play can get a little rough but he’s super friendly with most people and dogs. He knows some commands like “sit”, “get down”, “drop it” and is housebroken. If interested, we can arrange a meet to see if it’s a good match.
