Northern, NJ/Southern, NY I am a pro drummer with years of experience looking to join a band. NOT form a band...JOIN a band. I will learn your original music and your covers with the hope that, eventually, you will learn my songs as well. I am also a singer/songwriter/guitarist. I am 50+ years old, so I am familiar with music from the 60's up. My favorite bands are Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Allmans, Phish, God Street Wine. I am a " classic rock " guy. I really love doing original music, but I know you have to get people in the door with a certain style of music. That's why, even the Rolling Stones, do cover tunes. I suppose a tribute band can also do originals at some point too. No rule against that. I am 420 friendly. It has never caused an issue. I don't care what you do, as long as it doesn't cause an issue. And if it DOES, we don't stop on the side of the road and dump your ass out. A BAND needs to remain BANDED or it's useless. If we can do music and have fun and make some fun times for other people and be good, good friends....that is what it is all about to me. I am in Morris County. Willing to travel a reasonable distance or more, for the the right group of folks.
