Press release from the Georgetown Business Improvement District: January 7, 2021 While Johnny Spero's Georgetown restaurant, Reverie, takes a brief hiatus amid shifting COVID restrictions, the chef has turned his space at 3201 Cherry Hill Lane into a pizza pop-up. The new concept, called Lonely Hunter, will be open through at least the end of January, featuring pizza that's a hybrid of Neopolitan and Italian-Greek deck-oven styles. The 12-inch pizzas include the Nduja with braised fennel, boschetto al tartufo cheese, and tomato sauce; a potato pizza featuring bravas sauce, confit potato, parsley, mozzarella, and stracciatella; and a clam pizza with white sauce. If you're in the mood for something else, try the scallop crudo, or the smash burger with American cheese, Reverie sauce, dill pickles, and white onion. The Lonely Hunter menu is available for pick-up, delivery, and heated patio dining.
