About our speaker: Vijay attended Tulane University and University of Louisiana at Lafayette and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Pre-Medicine and a minor in Computer Science. Vijay has 20+ years of I.T. Experience in many industries, including Healthcare, Oilfield, Government, Professional, Educational, Non-Profits, and Small/Medium Consumer Businesses. He is certified as a CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), and MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). Vijay was previously the Director of I.T. Department for a Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital for 9+ years. Vijay is the lead developer in several custom applications for Oilfield Equipment Manufacturing, and Inventory Management Systems for Small/Medium/Large Businesses. Vijay is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Past President of Kiwanis de Pont Breaux, and was on the Board of Directors for the Breaux Bridge Chamber of Commerce. When Vijay is not working, he loves spending time with his family, travelling, and competitive tennis.
