For 2022, this course is approved for 3 CEs with the KY Boards of SW and LMFT, and it is pending with LPC, ADC and PSY. CE Certificates are sent via email after training. Full participation is required. For 2023, the CEs are PENDING with the same boards. This will be updated as approvals are received
Anxiety Disorders are one of the most common mental health concerns that clinicians encounter. This workshop will help the clinician recognize anxiety disorders in clients and to develop treatment strategies to target and moderate the symptoms that are impacting the client’s quality of life. Information will be provided regarding the parts of the brain that cause anxiety and offer evidence-based treatment strategies including CBT, and strategies to relax and engage the parasympathetic nervous system. Learning will be assisted with handouts and worksheets that can be used in working with clients as well as practicing some of the relaxation techniques during the workshop.
All classes are held at Seven Counties Services on 10401 Linn Station Rd., Ste. 100 from 1-4pm
