The County Coliseum is truly the “Place Where History was Made.” The list of musical superstars that performed at the Coliseum between 1942 and the present are Selena, Elvis Presley, Louie Armstrong, Juan Gabriel, the Jackson Five, Duke Ellington, Johnny Cash, Perez Prado’s Mambo Orchestra, and Ike & Tina Turner. In between these incredible performances the Coliseum was making other kinds of history as well. It served as an Italian POW camp, a Bracero reception center, the site of a Democratic fund-raiser for John F. Kennedy, the Raza Unida Conference, and more recently, a rally site for Donald Trump. Los Liminals will play a medley of the “greatest hits” played at the Coliseum.
