Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Responsibilities include personnel management for maintenance trades and environmental control center personnel. Supervise professional, technical, and field employees in functional areas such as: heating ventilation and air conditioning, general maintenance work, pipefitting, plumbing maintenance, interior and exterior lighting, structural and electrical maintenance. Oversee sub-contracted services for elevator maintenance, security systems maintenance, UPS systems, and life safety systems testing and maintenance. Perform quality control inspections. Analyze job procedures and recommend improvements. Attend weekly business meetings and effectively communicate with the customer and corporate management. Maintain accurate records. Review projects to determine conformance to applicable municipal, county, state, and federal laws and regulations. Qualifications This position requires a minimum of five years’ work experience in Facilities Operations and Maintenance, and experience managing an office building with 500,000 square feet or more of office space. Must have computer experience with a CMMS work order system, Microsoft Word and Excel software. Must be able to demonstrate engineering experience in reviewing, analyzing and evaluating program performance; budgeting; and allocating and distributing resources. A background in environmental compliance is desired. The applicant must be able obtain and maintain a favorable security background clearance and a valid driver’s license.
