ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Accurately fill medications, correctly label and initial cards, completing the production quota assigned • Pulling labels from printer and sorting into routes • Correctly route the completed bubble pack for pharmacist review • Keep workstation area clean during and after every shift • Prepackaging meds as assigned • Occasional stocking of inventory as directed • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned TRAINING/SKILLS: • MN Certified Pharmacy Technician license required • Nationally Certified preferred • 1+ years CPhT experience, preferably in high-volume pharmacy • Good computer skills, including pharmacy operations system • Excellent verbal communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to problem solve, make decisions in fast-paced environment, and work to deadlines • Ability to work assigned shift with no tardiness EDUCATION: High School diploma or G.E.D required PHYSICAL AND/OR MACHINERY: • Requires standing and moving for extended periods during 8 hour shift. • Must be able to work varying 8 hour, flexible schedule to include some nights and weekends • Ability to use hands with dexterity to quickly fill packaging systems • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
