Old beginner guitarist seeking to create

I’m 53 and have been a couch guitarist for two years. I’ve been grinding hard so have come a long way but I’ve been just playing by myself and now I know I need to play with others to start taking my best steps. I’m NOT interested in being in a cover band. I want to create original music. Soundscape, funky, lo-fi, jazzy, blues, psychedelic jam rock. My influences range from zeppelin and Pink Floyd to The Meters and Stevie Wonder. I’m open to anything just want to try and do something original and fun with the time I have left. I started too late.
