Local Women’s Organizations Team Up to Fight Hunger

Drop off donations from 8:00 a.m. until noon, Prevention First Building, 2800 Montvale Drive.
Food donors can take advantage of contactless drop-off that morning. Volunteers will be stationed in the parking lot to unload goods from donors’ vehicles.
Can't drop off on Sat. Dec. 3? No Problem! Advance donations will be accepted 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Nov. 28 through Dec. 2 by the Jane Hay Sales and Staging team at 3001 W. White Oaks Dr.
Donations of nonperishable food, cleaning supplies, and personal care items will be accepted. Suggested food donations include fresh fruits and vegetables, canned meats, soups & vegetables (pull-tabs preferred), peanut butter, fruit cups, cereal, pasta, rice, nuts, and 100% juice boxes. Collected goods will be distributed to Springfield area micro-pantries, Springfield Immigrant Advocacy Network (SIAN), and UIS Cares Food Pantry. Monetary gifts will also be accepted at the Food Drive. Checks should be made payable to Central Illinois Food Bank.
