The holidays can be a joyous time but also stressful - especially if you’re solo or a single parent. That’s why our December Strong Savvy Women event will happen in the Darien Salt Cave! “Holiday Healing in the Salt Cave of Darien” is our monthly meeting on Wednesday, December 14 at 7pm. Our group for single women is grateful to the salt cave’s owner, Arianne O’Donnell, for sponsoring our event. She will be treating everyone to the Salt Cave experience - which will help you destress, detox and improve your overall health. Take a break from holiday shopping for some much-deserved self-care and mingling with other women. O’Donnell is a Darien resident who also practices law and was impressed with salt caves’ benefits after a trip to Poland. She brought the idea back to her hometown where people now come to release stress, address a health challenge or gather with friends and family. Our event will be a social one in the salt cave and will not be available virtually this month. Space is limited so please register here right away! Strong Savvy Women meets monthly providing education and support for single, divorced, divorcing or widowed women in our area. Divorce coach Amy Polacko of Freedom Warrior (www.freedomwarrior.info) founded the group to prevent single women from feeling alone. As a coach, she empowers women during/after a divorce or toxic relationship and helps them create an amazing next chapter. Strong Savvy Women is under this umbrella and its Facebook community is free for all women, no matter what stage they are at in the process. The group’s focus is moving forward – by supporting each other, learning from expert speakers and having fun. Past event topics have included Jennifers’ Law, financial tips, managing the emotional rollercoaster of divorce, co-parenting, insider tips from divorce attorneys, self-love and real estate for single women. Attorney Rosemarie Ferrante of the Divorce Mediation Center of Fairfield County, LLC and Alison Hamilton of Eagle Ridge Investments LLC are on the group’s advisory board. Strong Savvy Women usually meets on the second Wednesday of the month at Hayvn, a women-centered coworking space in Darien.
