The 2nd Annual WINE WITH A WHY is happening on January 7, 2023. This party with a purpose invites giving girlfriends from around the Northern Colorado community, to help a local nonprofit through Silent Auctions, Live Drawings and donations. With a rotating featured non-profit each time, Wine With A Why intends to spread the love and donations around, while at the same time introducing attendees to new and uplifting organizations every year. Our chosen charitable organization for 2023 is : GIVE NEXT. Give Next is a school-based youth grant-making program for middle and high school students in Larimer County. Students work together to identify community needs, choose a focus area, create a mission statement, research nonprofits, volunteer, conduct site visits, review grant applications, and make funding decisions. At the end of the school year, students award grants to selected nonprofits. With backing by Bohemian Foundation and Stryker, and matching from Alpine Bank, Give Next is a well-supported org and our event is sure to raise additional funds for local students to go forward and do good things in Northern Colorado. It’s only $15 per person to attend- which will include beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Extra cash or credit card/Venmo account will offer opportunities for Wine Grab Bags, Silent Auctions, Heads or Tails and more! Fun and Free Drawings, socializing and New Year's magic is bound to happen. We'll have special guest speakers from Give Next -Preston Middle School!
