Sponsored by the UTSA Vice President of Academic Affairs, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts, and the Department of English
To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of UTSA’s English PhD, we are hosting a day-long event to commemorate this achievement. The day will include opening remarks by UTSA’s Provost Dr. Kimberly Espy and Dean of the College of Liberal and Fine Arts, Dr. Glenn Martínez, three roundtables on research, teaching, and community service featuring former PhD students and chaired by Dr. Sonia Saldívar-Hull, Dr. Bridget Drinka, and Dr. Kenneth Walker. Festivities will conclude with a reception and a keynote address by Dr. Norma Cantú, Norine R. and T. Frank Murchison Distinguished Professor at Trinity University. Luncheon will be provided (please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions).
As someone affiliated with the program at some point in its history, we hope you’ll be able to join us! If you have any questions, please contact Reina Vargas ([email protected]).
Please RSVP by November 20
