Indian food will be avaliable for purchase Our Cause Our fundraising event is aimed towards raising money for the ongoing construction of the Sri Sri University Hospital (SSUH) in Odisha, India. The SSU Hospital is committed to serving the crushingly poor and underprivileged population of eastern India which lives below poverty line (BPL, family income < $1/day) The Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital, Odisha (SSCASRH-SSU) has done rigourous and pioneering research on powerful herbs for treatment of COVID-19. The success of this research led to NAOQ-19, a prophylactic Ayurvedic Medicine for protection and fight against COVID-19. The Ministry of Ayush (Govt. of India) has approved NAOQ-19 as a supportive drug for mild to moderate cases. It is a matter of great achievement that SSCASRH-SSU, Odisha was selected as one of the 5 clinical trial centers along with AIIMS Rishikesh and AIIMS Jodhpur. The hospital, which started its operations in 2019, has already served more than 60,000 crushingly poor and hopelessly underprivileged surrounding population of eastern India which lives below poverty line (BPL, family income < $1/day). The hospital, when completed, will have an integrated Modern and Ayurvedic medicine system to provide a holistic treatment plan for each patient. The current ongoing infrastructure work includes moving the Ayurveda Medical College to its own permanent space inside the new iconic 14 story tower. 5 floors of this tower will be dedicated to the Ayurveda academia. Consequent infrastructure work will include providing new permanent space for the operational 100 beds of Ayurveda followed by creation of the Allopathy wing. Despite the pandemic and tough times, our ground staff has kept the operations on and served tens of thousands of people day and night.
