Join the DFW Nonprofit Resource Group's annual Holiday Happy Hour celebration at The Tipsy Oak in Arlington! We will have door prizes, our annual partner matching campaign, and maybe an exciting activity (I heard Zarko might be singing some Christmas Carols)! Regardless, you don't want to miss this fun gathering of mission-friendly businesses that support nonprofits throughout DFW. Ticket Types Tickets are $10 for in-person attendees. $5 will go towards the annual pooled giveaway and $5 towards some snacks.If you cannot make the event, feel free to purchase the "There In Holiday Spirit" ticket for $5 to support the match.You can contribute more to the match by adding an optional donation if you wish to do so. What is "Match the Match"? The pot starts with the ticket sales from our Holiday Mixer. Each contributing member has the opportunity to match the pot over a two week period following the event. We then have a drawing to select one of this year's hosts to give the money to one the matching period closes. Last year, the pot started with $200 and was matched to $2,000! Each "matcher" gets to nominate an organization that presented in the previous year to be put in the drawing for the total match. Last year, Genesis Women's Shelter was selected via random drawing.
