Have you ever noticed that Scripture starts in a garden and ends in a city? God shows us that there is no builder greater than Him. Yet our broken world keeps trying to outdo God. With more than 56% of the world today living in cities of man we have a great opportunity to work with God for every segment of these cities to be filled with His glory under His Lordship through the multiplication of disciples and churches. The Strategy Coordinator Training will help followers of Jesus who are taking responsibility to reach a segment(s) of a city(s) by multiplying disciples and churches. Through the leadership of the Holy Spirit, group discovery of Biblical principles, discussion of big picture frameworks, and prayerful development of clear plans, we will tackle 5 questions together: What is success? What do we do? Who can we count on for what? How do we multiply? How are we doing? Following the training you will have the opportunity to join a monthly community of practice to assist in overcoming barriers to multiplying God's glory in a specific target. LIMITED SPACE! REGISTER EARLY. Schedule THURSDAY - SATURDAY...9:00am - 5:30pm LUNCH & SNACKS included each day. TRAINING PREPARATION Please complete these assignments before the first day of the training. Bring your notes and learnings with you. A committed effort to do the work is expected from all participants. 1. Read the Book of Acts and all of Paul's Epistles. - Keep notes on all listed co-workers, when they are together, and how they relate to one another. 2. Read Nehemiah and answer the questions found here: https://bit.ly/3OSY4GX FAQ Will food be provided? * LUNCH & SNACKS will be provided each day. Your registration fee helps to cover this cost. Will there be childcare? * We are unable to provide childcare at this time. If you need help with childcare options, feel free to email Chris ([email protected]). What should I bring? * Bible, pen, notepad, completed homework Can I come for only part of the training? * Please do not plan to attend if you cannot commit to the entire training. We understand and appreciate that you have many responsibilities and commitments. But we also believe that multiplying disciples and churches to reach a city or segment requires a commitment that will ask much more of you than these three days. Consider this sacrifice a part of counting the cost to obey what God is calling you to. What does the registration fee cover? * The registration fee covers lunch and snacks each day. That is all. None of the trainers are being compensated for their time. Everyone is paying their own way. It's just easier in Houston for us to eat together during the training. We believe strongly that we should perpetuate Jesus' instruction to those who were multiplying disciples and churches, "You received without paying; give without pay." (Mt 10:8) We are working with some amazing partners to subsidize costs, but there isn't a budget behind the training. Who is leading the training? * Every trainer is a practitioner in North America who is sharing the Gospel, discipling others to multiply, leading and starting new church gatherings, and coordinating strategy through relational influence without position or title.
