We invite you to join us to Speak Up as an Ally and Speak Out for your Community. Latinas earn $0.54 for every $1.00 earned by white, non-hispanic men. ALPFA will acknowledge Latina Equal Pay Day with events across the country, standing in solidarity with Latinas who’s salaries catch up to her white, non-hispanic male counterparts on this day. At each event, ALPFA will announce the 2022 Latinas to Watch and Rising Stars lists in an effort to amplify Latina talent while highlighting the systemic barriers they face. At this free event we will: Empower Latinas to take control of what they can and identify the help needed in the fight for equal pay.Highlight the stories of local Latinas and the ways the ALPFA chapter/community has supported them.Celebrate the 2022 Latinas to Watch and Rising Stars lists as tools for organizations to recognize and amplify Latina talent.ALPFA is excited to partner with Wells Fargo and local executives, professionals, influencers, ERG leaders, and allies to come together and shine light on the structural inequality Latinas face and to share ideas on what can be done about it.
