Event Information December 10th, 2022 Calvin Hall / First Hungarian Reformed Church of Pittsburgh - 221 Johnston Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207 Doors open @ 5:30PM / Screening @ 6:15PM Q&A with the filmmakers and subjects following the screening. Light snacks and refreshments provided. Admission is free but seating capacity is LIMITED. Please register ASAP! Donations to help cover the cost of the event are welcome. Free on-street parking is available. - About the Screening Hazelwood Alive follows the work of historian Jaquay Edward Carter as he seeks to document, preserve, and revitalize the diverse history of Hazelwood, a neighborhood in Pittsburgh, PA. Brashear: Opening an American High School is an in-production feature documentary that tracks the first few years of the racially integrated high school, from 1976 through the early 1980’s. The teaser previews the unique challenges that students, parents, teachers, and administrators from across the city of Pittsburgh faced as they created a new kind of school from scratch. - What is Malhari Media?
