We invite you to join family, friends, and colleagues to thank Commissioner Senita Lenear for her 9 years of service to the City of Grand Rapids. In 2013, Commissioner Lenear was the first African-American woman elected to the Grand Rapids City Commission. This celebration will honor her legacy and passionate service. The event will be open house style with refreshments, starting at 5 pm with remarks/program at 6 pm. The event will conclude at 7:30 pm.
