Dear Fox Valley, I'm a kitten named Dez. My coloring is white with orangey brown patches. I'm about 4 months old and I was found under a shed as a baby with my siblings. My mama couldn't be found and my brothers and sisters went to new homes a long time ago, so now it's just me. :( I'm not neutered or vaccinated yet, but I AM gentle and friendly. I'm completely litter trained, I don't hiss/scratch/bite, and I absolutely adore playing with just about anything. Lasers and feather wands are my favorite! I'm also still learning that snuggles with humans are fun, and I can be picked up and held for a little while at a time. I can live with any dogs or cats (as long as they don't chase me) but human siblings should be old enough to understand my physical boundaries. My friend is Jax. He's white with black splotches all over. His age is a little harder to tell, but the humans think he's around 6 months old. He's not neutered or vaccinated, either. He was surrendered because his human siblings were crazy and scared the heck out of him. He was even too scared to eat when they were home! Anyway, he's really nice, but he's pretty skittish around new people, places, and animals. He doesn't really like being picked up or held at all, so he would be a great companion for a quiet, older home or someone who's not home a lot. Kids are probably a no-go since he's terrified of loud noise and lots of activity. Our temporary mom and dad are asking a $20 fee to re-home each of us ($40 total - that's less than a tank of gas, these days!). We'd really like to enjoy the winter season in the same home, but if you prefer just one of us, that's okay too. Be sure you text or email so you can come meet us! Love, Dez & Jax xoxo
