IN PERSON INTERVIEWS ONSITE THIS MONDAY/TUESDAY (NOVEMBER 21, 22) !!!! ABILITY TO START THIS WEEK! LET IT SHINE – PARK MANAGEMENT (SUPERVISORS) SUMMARY Let It Shine is coming to the greater Atlanta area with a brand-new holiday experience for the 2022-23 winter season. Our guests will drive-thru a holiday display of smart pixel LED lights all synchronized to holiday classics. Guests will drive past archways, pathways, candy canes, snowmen and more – immersing themselves into a world of lights all from the comfort of their own car. YOUR ROLE Overall, the goal is simple, we need to create the best experience for our guests. We are in the business of bringing families and loved ones together as we create memories for years to come! In your role, you will oversee a team of 15-20 employees. You will be the first one in and last one out as you are responsible for all park operations including: • Scheduling- You will ensure we have adequate coverage for each night of operations. This will entail working with human resources to create weekly schedules, communicating with staff daily to ensure they have committed to a schedule and arrive at the start of their shift. In the event of “no call”/”no show” – you will reach out to “floaters” and find coverage for the appropriate shifts. • Timecard & Check-in – You will be responsible for employee arrival and departure, assigning daily responsibilities and issuing/collecting radios at the beginning/end of each shift. • Opening/Closing Checklist – You will ensure the park is powered on and shut-down properly according to closing checklists. • Park Operations - You will be responsible for the teams that welcome guests, use point of sale technology and sell merchandise – throughout each day you will monitor operations for a smooth check-in process, manage event traffic flow, and maintain the safety of our guests. GENERAL INFORMATION: • Event Duration: 11/18/22 -1/1/23. • Hours of Operation: Open 7-days per week from 5:00-10:00 PM. • Gate Agents/Park Operations: Shifts start 60-minutes before & end 30-minutes after gates open/close. • Equipment: You will be provided a safety reflective vest, flashlight/baton. All items are your responsibility to keep and use for the season. They will be required daily so please keep them safe. • Pay Frequency: All Staff will be paid via direct deposit every 2 weeks. PRE-SHOW (DAILY ACTIVITIES PRIOR TO OPENING) • Be the first one there! • Coordinate schedule for staffing including any call-off’s, now shows, etc. • Verify site signage is still posted and not taken down/removed due to wind or other elements. • Power on generators and all electronics include the computer in the main hub and all show elements at least 1-hour prior to gate opening. • Ensure all gates for entry and exit are unlocked. • Open the employee parking 45-minutes prior to gate opening • Ensure all scanners are fully charged, online/working and set to the correct date for check-in. • Ensure all park employees get checked-in and are issued walk-talkies & point of sale technology/scanners. • Ensure all employees are at their assigned stations 20-minutes prior to gate opening. • Open the gate promptly 15-minutes prior to showtime. SHOWTIME (DAILY ACTIVITIES DURING OPERATING HOURS) ● Ensure there is a smooth check-in process & manage the event traffic flow. ● Monitor the safety of our employees & guests. ● Monitor employee attendance and any needed breaks. ● Walk around as needed to various positions and ensure smooth operations. ● Resolve any issues. ● Note and report any issues or possible areas of improvement. ● Keep traffic flowing – no prolonged stops, traffic should be consistently idling- NO STOPPING ● Close the entrance 15-minutes prior to closing to not allow any additional vehicles to enter. POST-SHOW (DUTIES AFTER CLOSE) ● Tail the last vehicle out and ensure all gates/entry points are locked. ● Secure the perimeter. ● Collect radios & scanners from all agents. ● Sign out all park operations on the timecard and keep only a skeleton crew (2-3) needed to close. ● Verify fuel levels on generators. ● Turn off all generators based on the checklist posted on each generator. ● Turn off all electronics in the main hub including the computer. ● Verify Employee parking, Main Entry and Main Exit are locked and secure ● Ensure all gates are locked & perimeter is secured before leaving for the evening.
