This is an On-Demand screening. Registrants may stream two award-winning films multiple times during a six-day window, watch at your convenience from wherever! From Seed to Seed (87 minutes) follows a diverse group of Canadian farmers for a season of challenges and rewards. Experts are working with these farmers on using a blend of ancient traditions and science to develop improved methods for growing food ecologically in a changing climate. This hopeful and award-winning story provides one perspective on a global social movement towards regenerative farming practices. Farming the Sky is a film-short that features a new kind of greenhouse in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The building packs a perfectly controlled growing environment into a vertical space located on a sliver of land, the first of its kind in the northern hemisphere. This urban farm provides the local community with super-fresh produce, no matter the weather. Presented by ForestPlanet.org, an NGO supporting global scale tree planting projects. Proceeds from this event will support forest restoration projects on multiple continents.
