Purebred 2yr Old Female German Shepherd

Description

My husband’s cousin is moving overseas and doesn’t want to take his dog with him - “it’s too much trouble.” He was going to take her to a shelter, so I asked that he let me help find her a home instead. He sent her to 2 weeks of professional obedience training when she was 16 weeks old, but never kept up with the training once she was home. She still knows commands and uses a training collar, but she’s going to need the work put back in for her to be fully command trained again. She is fully house broken, he leaves her out in the house when she’s alone, and she rarely tears up anything, although she will get into the trash. She will get on the counters and stove and eat food if it’s there, even if she has food in her bowl. She is definitely an inside dog, she’s never been left outdoors. *We do not want a German shepherd or have time for one, so there is no way we will be keeping her for him. This is just my effort to keep her out of a shelter.* * Date of birth: 11/12/2020 * Medical history: UTD on shots, unaltered, no known medical allergies. * Reason for rehoming: owner is moving overseas and doesn’t want to take her - I honestly think it’s that he doesn’t want to deal with putting in the work to continue her training and she’s become mischievous, so he’s just done with her. * Cat friendly? no exposure * Dog friendly? She is friendly with my toy dogs and their puppies, I don’t know of other exposure. * Small animal friendly? no exposure * Child friendly? Yes, she is great with babies up to adults. * Rehoming fee $200 (I do not want her taken for abuse or fighting)
