Starts Monday, January 16th (Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks) ​Class dates: 1/16; 1/23; 1/30 and 2/6; 2/13; 2/20. Participants will learn basic fabrication techniques such as piercing, forming, soldering, and surface finishing. In addition, there will be demonstrations on stone setting techniques for rings & pendants. Discussions will include applying design principles to jewelry making and how to improve craftsmanship. This class is open to beginners & intermediate metalsmiths. Fee does not include materials. The $50 materials kit can be purchased directly from the instructor. The kit utilizes sterling silver and brass components. Additional materials can be purchased separately. Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.   NOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students, including wearing masks while inside the building.
