ABOUT US: Compass Rose History Experiences is owned by Mimi Cirbusova and Andrea Knies, who share their love of local history through the true, and untold stories of our shared past. You can learn more about us on our website: compassrosehistory.com REGISTRATION DETAILS: Each tour is approximately 75-90 minutes in length. Tours begin on the corner of Pineapple Avenue and 1st Street in Five Points Park (across the street from Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave.) and will conclude near the Palm Avenue parking garage. Walking tours will begin promptly at the listed start time. Please allow ample time for parking and meeting the group. We recommend parking in the Palm Avenue Garage when possible. Compass Rose History Experiences is not responsible for parking fees or fines incurred by ticket holders. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking/standing, and weather-appropriate attire. Walking distance is under 1 mile.For questions, please email: [email protected]. WEATHER POLICY: The Sarasota 1926 Tour will take place if it is cold, windy, or a little bit rainy. However, for the safety of our guests, we will cancel in case of severe weather. If a weather cancellation is necessary, we will alert ticket holders 24 hours prior to the tour by email and announce on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Ticket holders will then have one week from the cancellation of the tour to select to either transfer their ticket to another date or have their ticket refunded.
