In this Five-part series course, participants gain knowledge about the cannabis industry in Georgia.
Week 1 Module 1 covers the historical journey, biochemistry of cannabis\ medical marijuana.
Week 2 Cultivation Lab- be prepared to plant, cut, and clone tomato plants.
Module 2 object Students will be able to know how to clone, plant, and trim a tomato plant. Students will not handle real hemp or cannabis seed in this class. A field trip to a Cannabis growing farm in South Carolina is optional for students to get a firsthand look at how the plants are grown and trimmed, and to see the indoor growth process.)
Week 3 Module 3 covers the principles of pharmacology, its application, and dosage. Students will learn the endocannabinoid system, influence of cannabis biochemistry on the nervous system and the relationship between cannabis use in traditional and alternative medicine.
Week 4 Module 4 covers cannabis hemp law and current regulations, including, Ga.HB213 and Ga. HB324. [Regulations regarding opening a dispensary in Georgia.] lab-testing equipment review with options to become a tester and purchase lab test kits.
The final Module for the course, is Module 5. Module 5 covers the business aspect of medical marijuana and the commercial market for cannabis and its lab equipment. Note: Test will be due before end o
