Mrs. Ferrales will share her personal and professional journey to becoming an educational leader and principal of Brook Avenue Elementary. She beat the odds when so many told her it could not be done. Come hear Lorena's story on how her passion and love for her students pushed her to do more and make an impact in their lives. Conectar-Connect is a leadership development program under the Hispanic Leaders' Network (HLN). HLN's vision is to "Develop and empower current and future leaders to make a difference in the community." Our mission is to "Provide personal, cultural, and professional opportunities to inspire Hispanic leaders to serve and make a positive impact." HLN's Conectar-Connect offers the opportunity for participants to network, learn, and be inspired. This Conectar - Connect event is sponsored by Transformation Waco. Transformation Waco is a non-profit, in-district partnership managing and operating five schools and supporting community needs.
