Every other Saturday from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, Major Tom Schick and/or Serenity LeMagi tell your fortune for free using tarot cards (aged 16+, under 16s with parent present). Tips neither expected nor accepted. You'll find them on the Promanade between Olive and Pearl right next to the dog park (weather permitting - temp above 55, below 90, and dry), but if the park is holding an event they could be anywhere. I am Major Tom Schick and a lot of people have asked me why I tell fortunes for free. Like, aren't I telling the world my fortunes are worthless by giving them away? Not at all. My readings are valuable and my reasons for providing free readings in public are sound. Gratitude - my motivating factor. Tarot and tarot card reading have given me a wonder life. This is how I pay it forward. Communication - spreading the word. A lot of people I tell fortunes for in the park tell me it's their first ever experience getting a reading. Education - giving experience to my students. Students who accompany me from time to time may be getting their first experience of reading for strangers. Spirit - directed from above. The Holy Spirit compels me.
