Members and guests are invited to attend AAUW Naperville Area's Holiday Party With a Purpose -- a festive dinner at Basil’s Greek Dining -- to meet friends and celebrate the season. This year our party will help From Our Hearts Chicago. FOHC provides free services for the homeless and less fortunate. FOHC's founder, Lovely Brack, received AAUW Naperville Area's 2022 L&S Leadership Scholarship, and we were so inspired by her community service example that we decided to collect items to help the homeless this season. Please bring any of these items to the party for donation to FOHC. They will fill "love" bags to distribute to men and women on the streets this winter: Deodorant -- Shampoo/ conditioner 2 oz -- Lotion 2 oz -- Toothbrush, Toothpaste -- Mouthwash 3 oz- no alcohol -- Socks -- Body wipes DINNER MENU Appetizers -- Greek Salad -- Entree (Select at the restaurant: Salmon, Chicken Kabob, or Mediterranean Pasta) -- Dessert (Galaktubouriko) -- Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks. Alcoholic beverages are not included but may be purchased separately.
