The National Institute of Minority Economic Development (NIMED) is conducting a regional workforce needs assessment. We will be holding a public listening session at the NC Works Career Center- Greensboro on Dec 7, from 10:00a to 11:30a. We are interested in hearing your experiences in finding good jobs, barriers to employment or advancement, and issues you may have experiences in applying for benefits such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Your participation is vital to our effort to provide a complete and accurate understanding of the workforce training needs in the area. Participants will be compensated for their time with a $20 Walmart gift card.
