Rehoming red papillon adult male- rehoming fee

Looking for a more active home for our male papillon who is 4 years old. He is red sable and white. Not house trained fully but will use a puppy pad when in his pen indoors. He doesn't like being carried around and is shy at first, but is a sweet boy. Not destructive and never bites, but does need someone who can give him more time, or a doggie buddy. We are moving out of OK in a year or so, because the teacher situation is perilous now and my husband wants to go some place where he is more respected. So I'd rather start finding Dewey a new home so that I'm not rushed and can find a good home for him, and so that he is happier sooner. Never submitted his papers but he could be registered. There is a $300 rehoming fee.
