Here are some answers to some common questions when registering.
-Creating an account doesn't mean they are registered for any events; it is an additional step. After you create your account, Go Back into Calendar and make sure you register for volunteer date (Saturday, 12/10 from 11:00am-2:00pm).
-If someone wants to register another person in addition to themselves, they must log out of their own account before doing so; and, every person needs a different username.
-Everyone attending will need to be registered, through the link, by Friday, December 2nd at 4:00pm. Otherwise, we will need to release an unregistered spots to the public.
-Parking: You can park in our large parking lot at 120 E Ross Ave, Tampa, FL 33602, or across the street at 2001 N. Florida Ave.
-Check-In: Go to the Volunteer Engagement Center located at 120 E Ross Ave near the center of the building with the green awning. At maximum, three volunteers are allowed in the lobby at once for check-in.
-Personal Items: It is best to leave purses and electronics at home or out of sight in your trunk or another secure location while volunteering.
I would also like to emphasize our Dress code:
Please ensure that everyone wears long pants, closed-toed shoes, no tank tops, no mid-drift shirts, and no jeans with large holes. Our kitchen is our biggest volunteer need, and all volunteers need to adhere to the code mentioned. You are welcome to bring shorts with you in case you are not assigned to the kitchen.
