Looking to rehome a stray I found

She's a very sweet dog. Found her wandering around my property. She was very hungry and I was worried about her getting hit by a car so I took her in. However, her owners have yet to stand up and I've had her for 3 weeks. I can't keep her. She's playful and affectionate. Has fallen asleep in my lap. She's also very energetic. Loves to run and a great jumper so she'll need a home that can accommodate her level of activity. She doesn't nip or bite. She's not food aggressive - I've put my hand in her food dish while she was eating and she behaved fine. She is timid so it can take a bit for her to warm up to other people I've noticed but she comes around quick and is a love bug. I don't know how she is with kids or other animals, but she seems like she'd be just fine around them. She just wants lots of love and affection, I think she's a Chihuahua mix of some sort. She's definitely bigger than a Chihuahua, though. About the size of a Sheltie but thinner, longer, and leaner. Contact if interested.
