'Brass Player' needed for New Avant Garde Band

Original Neoclassical Atonal Bebop Spaz Jazz compositions w/pockets of Free-Form Improvisation. Influences; Don Van Vliet, Erik Dolphy, Carla Bley, Charles Ives, Thelonious Monk, Robert Wyatt, Sylvia Plath, Edward Gorey, Syd Barrett, Dr. Seuss, etc. I am a seasoned musician who plays clarinet (bass, alto, Bb) and sings on a few pieces. Bandmates include two saxophones, keyboard, guitar, 6-string bass, and drums. I'm hoping for either Euphonium or Trombone, but Trumpet would work fine. You'll need to know how to reed unconventional charts and feel comfortable playing in & out of strict metered time. Bandmates are currently acquainting themselves with the material at home. Rehearsing begins January or February 2023 in my Ypsilanti basement rehearsal room. Record label interest in my material does exist. The idea is to have fun, make good lunch money, and enjoy turning people's ears & brains inside out across the good old mid-west. If interested, please respond with your resume (broadly speaking).
