Description
The stimulus program/ checks was the most bipartisan program in quite some time.
Yes, the stimulus was inflationary and economies 101 would be enough to call that. There were many other inflationary factors looming for quite some time.
At the time things were falling apart and would have been much worse with out the stimulus. Now the consequences, nothing shocking there. The program was fraught with problems mainly due to the speed it was implemented. The rich probably benefited fraudulently as much if not more then the poor. Overall I think the stimulus was the right move. Sure it could have been done better.
I agree that the x prez had no desire to help anyone other then himself; not country, not the poor, only himself! Not what one would call a public servant.
Also, inflation was on its way even without Covid, it was the tipping point only.
