NEW LONDON, CT — The Ledge Light Health District reports coronavirus infections are up following the holidays. The district released the following statement: "Ledge Light Health District released the latest COVID-19 data for the municipalities within its District. As expected, we have seen a significant increase in cases within our jurisdiction, due in part to COVID transmissions associated with holiday gatherings. LLHD began our COVID vaccination campaign this week, and expect to continue vaccinating through the spring and summer. Although vaccinations are an important part of our COVID response, it is critical that we remain diligent and take appropriate precautions." Here are the number of reported COVID-19 cases in the last two weeks for each town: East Lyme: 120 Groton (town and city): 304 Ledyard: 118 Lyme: 12 New London: 326 North Stonington: 28 Old Lyme: 30 Stonington: 102 Waterford: 122
