Heidi was a stray that my dad took in. She was flea infested, covered in ticks, and seemingly abused. We got her up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, and she has an appointment to be spayed. She is excellent with all other dogs, okay with cats (may bark at them at first but won’t hurt them), and would probably be better with older kids. My dad just had his hip replaced, is in physical therapy, and is also scheduled for cataract surgery. My job keeps me away for 12+ hours most days. Heidi can climb our four foot chain link fence, we live on a busy road, but she’s too strong for him and can pull him down. It’s not a safe for her and it’s not safe for him. She does need someone who is willing to earn her trust. She’s come a long ways with my dad, but unfortunately he just can’t manage her outside. Rehoming fee of $25 and for her safety, I will want to bring her to your home.
