Located in the Thrive Café at the Withnell Family YMCA The Y is partnering with the Salem Downtown Mainstreet Association and Create A Memory to paint keepsake ornaments that will be hidden downtown this holiday season for community members to find. Paint a clay ornament with your child that you will leave at the Y. Secret holiday fairies will take the ornaments and hide them downtown for people to find and claim throughout the month of December. Cupcakes will be available for all youth participants. Each ornament will be labeled with the artists' name and age. These are sure to be the talk of the town! Registration is limited! Ages 5-12 will paint from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. - 30 spots available Ages 13 - 18 will paint from 6:15 - 7:00 p.m. - 20 spots available
