DATES/TIMES: The free informational session will be held on Monday, January 16th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM> LOCATION: The info session will be held in-person at SWMI Health Matters located at 5708 Venture Court, Suite A, Kalamazoo MI 49009. Hybrid options are available. INVESTMENT: The informational session is free. The 8-Week course is valued at $350. We have payment plans available, if needed. ABOUT THE FACILITATOR, LILITA MATISON, LMSW: Lilita teaches people about the mind-body connection, including how to start paying attention to mind-body cues when navigating stress, uncertainty, or change.  She also teaches a toolbox of skills (i.e. how to integrate breathwork, present moment awareness, meditation, imagery, journaling, drawing, gentle movement, progressive muscle relaxation, EFT/tapping, etc.) to help release, heal, and transform trauma. Lilita's work with clients is strength based and solution-focused.  She supports and coaches clients to tap into their own resources (intuition, inner strength and knowing, support systems, community, etc.).  This exploration can include trans-generational healing work - identifying ancestral resilience, as well as healing trans-generational trauma and releasing patterns that no longer serve the family system. Lilita also is a teacher at Western Michigan University's School of Social Work and a Faculty member with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, a global non-profit organization in Washington, DC. She trains and supervises Masters level Social workers and other mental health care professionals in integrative health, mind-body therapies, and trauma.
