Get paid to learn with us! Just apply and let's talk! The Plant Health Care Technician will: Fertilize and weed control applications to turf and landscape beds. Mix, load, and apply fertilizers/herbicides to numerous sites each day. Calibrate sprayers and spreaders Complete required paperwork and reports on a daily basis. Clean and maintain equipment on regular basis to ensure good working order. Other duties as assigned. Important requirements: Basic math skills and conversions required to measure and mix proper amounts of liquids and granular products. Must be detail orientated and have great written and oral communications skills. Detailed record keeping and paperwork is important. Knowledge of backpack sprayers, spreaders and/or calibration equipment is a plus. Able to lift up to 50 lbs., drag hose up to 300 ft. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus We work outside in various weather conditions including but not limited to, heat, cold, rain, performing physical manual labor on a variety of surfaces and slopes. Must be able to pass Background check, Drug and Alcohol tests, pass government employment verification (e-verify).
