Please join us as nationally recognized Walkability Expert & former host of PBS's America's Walking, Mark Fenton, who provides insights from a decades-long career to helping America develop more active and livable cities, towns, and neighborhoods.
This "Train the Trainer" style sessions will prepare trainees to conduct walking audits where residents can participate in making their vision of safe, walkable streets real.
Following classroom instruction, trainees will apply learnings and conduct a walking audit with Mark near the intersection of Beard & Farrel.
After a debrief and Q&A session with Mark, guests are invited to a Built Environment Advocacy Presentation & Reception to conclude the summit.

8:30am-10:00am Walking Audit Facilitator Training (Breakfast & lunch provided)
10:30am-1:00pm Beard & Farrell Audit & Workshop
1:00pm-3:00pm Facilitator Trainee Debrief (optional)
