The African Health Care Professionals Gala is an event created to honor the wonderful contributions being made by African nurses, doctors, pharmacists, CNA, CMA, Meds technicians, and others every single day. We would like to recognize the importance of having African providers that speak our language, understand social determinants of health (housing, food, access to affordable health care etc.), and are committed to making a difference in our community. We would also like to provide the African health professionals with an opportunity to network and brainstorm ideas on how to advance the mental, physical, and emotional health of our community
