Prioritizing Our Women’s Economic Rise (POWER), a program sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co to support Black and Latina Women in West Baltimore, will be having a general awareness event on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, at the University of Maryland Baltimore’s Life Sciences Conference Center. Come meet the initiative's program partners, network with funders & aligned organizations, get connected to community resources, and take advantage of business & professional development opportunities. The POWER program was designed to create effective and accessible ways to accelerate wealth-building in West Baltimore by investing in entrepreneurship, workforce training, and supporting Black and Latina women and developers to disrupt inequitable systems. The project is led by community-based organizations, including Baltimore Community Lending, Black Women Build Baltimore, Building Trades Council, Parity Homes, Byte Back, and the Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC).
