The Fitchburg Historical Society is welcoming visitors for a new kind of event on Saturday, January starting at 6 p.m. The Fitchburg History Trivia Quiz Show will feature three local celebrities testing their knowledge of local history and trivia. There will be lots of laughs when storyteller Todd Goodwin, Fitchburg State University Assistant Professor Kisha Tracy and Fitchburg educator Mary Cringan test their knowledge (or give a wild guess!) about Fitchburg’s history. The hosts will be Jessie Olson, of the Fitchburg Cultural Alliance and Noah Hatton, of WPKZ radio.
This is the grand championship edition, pitting the winners from the July, September and November contests: what a great way to banish the winter blues, with funny and intriguing stories unearthed from the voluminous records of the Fitchburg Historical Society.
For community members interested in attending the All-Star Fitchburg History Trivia nights, tickets cost $25 and are available in limited numbers. Admission includes a light dinner and beverages.
