Description

The Allegheny Intermediate Unit and the Allegheny County Library Association partner to present the Children’s Choice Awards. Similar to a Mock Newbery program, school and public librarians will work together to help students (in grades 3-6) choose the best book of the year.  Students will have until March to read the nominated books and then vote for their favorite. The winning book will be announced at this event.  No fee for this year's event! We are excited to announce this year's keynote author will be Caroline Carlson, author of The Very Nearly Honorable League of Pirates series and The World's Greatest Detective.
