Description
On Thursday, November 17th, 2022, I was on the third floor of Roofers Union by myself.
I started talking to a girl in her 20s and we started making out. I heard over my shoulder a woman say, "Hey, your friend is totally making out with that guy over there," in a very judgmental tone. I thought, "Oh no, they're going to pull her away from me."
Lo and behold, a moment later, a very beautiful girl pulled my girl away from me and then started making out with me. I thought, "Really? That was kind of rude, but OK!"
After a few seconds, she jumped away and a third girl jumped in to make out with me. At this point I was getting weirded out.
After a few seconds, she jumped away and the fourth girl jumped in to make out with me. She approached me rather reluctantly and timidly. My friend said I was wrong for accepting her, but I didn't ask her to do anything. And frankly, girls 2-4 didn't ask for my consent at all, so there. If a man allows a clearly timid and reluctant woman to approach him, grab him, and make out with him, is he a bad actor? I refuse to get MeTooed over this.
After a few seconds, girl #4 jumped away and they all ran downstairs. The people around me looked at me weirdly and some implored me to chase after them. I did not. It seems clear they didn't want that. I was confused about their motives. I sat at the ledge talking to people and developing theories about what had just occurred.
Girl #1: You were probably insecure and wanted your friends to see you making out with a hot guy. That was probably misguided. Thanks for getting the ball rolling!
Girl #2: You probably wanted to save your friend from getting shamed. You are beautiful inside and out. Please contact me.
Girl #3: You probably wanted to associate yourself with girl #3. Thanks for keeping the party alive!
Girl #4: You probably were not into what was happening, but didn't want to be the ONLY girl who didn't participate. You don't need to feel like that. Feel free to contact me.
