Guitarist Looking For Bassist For Folk/Jazz Duo

I'm a 30 year old guitarist looking for a bassist to accompany me for duo performances. I have a lot of experience playing around Buffalo in blues bands and solo acoustic shows. I've recently been influenced by players like Bill Frisell and Julian Lage, and would like to put together a set of Americana-tinged jazz tunes in that vein. I also play and sing in the style of Chris Stapleton, John Mayer, and Dawes. Upright bass is preferred but I am also willing to work with an electric bass. Harmony vocals would be a huge plus for some tunes, and this project has an opportunity to become a rhythm section for a small vocal group. I would also like to know from the greater Buffalo jazz community where some good spots would be that host open jam type events to meet other players. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
