Eve Niedergang Will Seek Reelection To Princeton Council

PRINCETON, NJ - Princeton Councilwoman Eve Niedergang announced earlier this week, that she will run for reelection in the June 8, 2021 Democratic primary. Niedergang is currently serving her third year in office. She has served as liaison to the Board of Health, Environmental Commission, Local Emergency Planning Committee, Personnel Committee, Public Works Committee, Senior Resource Center, Shade Tree Commission and the Sewer Operating Committee. In a media statement, Niedergang said she was grateful for the trust and confidence voters placed in her when she ran in 2018. "I am here to listen to you and to work collaboratively with residents, colleagues, and staff to achieve the best outcomes for this community which I love and of which I am so proud to be a part," she said. Two three-year terms will be on the ballot in Princeton this year. Niedergang praised the Princeton's affordable housing policy, saying it focused on welcoming diverse groups to Princeton. "It promotes smart growth, contains a mix of both one-hundred-percent affordable and inclusionary developments, and includes homes for low-income seniors and people with disabilities," she said.
