Women4Women Jax and Paylocity invite you to join us for our December event, Givers Gain! Our December event, Giver’s Gain, will be a bit untraditional but coincides with our mission to give back. We will be supporting two amazing local organizations, JuLu Ministries and RR Loving Hands. Both ran by founders of W4W with a passion of giving back to the Jacksonville community. For our December 14th event, please bring one (or more) of the items listed below for donation to JuLu Ministries and/or RR Loving Hands. We will “level up” our gift-wrapping skills, with Heather from Paylocity, learning gift-wrapping techniques on the items we bring for donation. • Socks: Men & Women • Rain jackets / ponchos: Men & Women • Light blankets • Gloves • Wet wipes • 32 OZ water bottles • Coloring Books • Board Games • Vienna sausage • Cookies & Chips • Tuna salad kits ** Most of the items above can be purchased at your local dollar tree** Come ready to level up, be inspired, connect, and give back! Light Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be provided! We will also be giving out a door prize for one lucky lady, so reserve your spot today! Ongoing events will be the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of each month. About JuLu Ministries: JuLu Ministries is a local nonprofit with the mission to service the homeless and less fortunate in Duval County. They do so by meeting the daily, physical needs of the individuals they support. This amazing organization is run by Melissa Rorabaugh, solely on donations and her efforts. https://www.facebook.com/JuLuMinistries/ About RR Loving Hands: RR Loving Hands is a local, Non-Profit Organization with the mission to provide a lifetime of compassionate, high quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. They strive to ensure every person’s dignity and independence. Permanent shelter, recreational, and training skills are provided as well as social and therapeutic services. Examples of shelter include but are not limited to group homes for intellectual disabled adults that provide shelter and a clean homelike atmosphere. These residents can share chores and hold down jobs. Although some are self-sufficient, they are not independent enough to live alone full time. They accept R&R Loving Hands as their full-time place of residence and go to our training program during the day for a meaningful day.
